Colon cancer usually develops slowly over many years. In its early stages, it often causes no or only nonspecific symptoms. This is where prevention comes in: Through targeted tests, occult (invisible) blood in the stool can be detected – a possible indication of polyps or early tumor stages.

The earlier abnormalities are detected, the better the chances of recovery and the gentler a potential treatment can be.

The FIT test is an immunological stool test that specifically reacts to human hemoglobin. Compared to older stool tests, it offers higher accuracy and better reliability, without the need for a prior diet.
